preinfection.lol is a personal site. You are welcome to look around it, link to it, screenshot it and tell people about it.
By opening it you accept what is written on this page. If you do not agree with any of it, please close the tab - that is the whole remedy on both sides.
Nothing here is a service you are buying, an account you are holding, or a promise anyone is making to you. It is somebody's page on the internet.
If you are young enough that your parents decide what you may agree to, ask them before you take anything on this page as a commitment.
The name preinfection, the wordmark, the artwork, the background film, the written words and the code behind this site belong to the owner, except where the credits page says otherwise.
Do not copy the site or parts of it to pass off as your own, sell it, rent it, or use it in anything you charge for, without asking first.
That includes reuploading the build, republishing the pages under another name, and lifting the layout wholesale for a site that competes with this one.
The open-source components this site is built from stay under their own licences. They are listed on the credits page, and nothing here changes those licences in any way.
Other people's names, logos and trademarks that appear here - Discord, Roblox, GitHub, Instagram, TikTok and so on - belong to them. Their presence is a link, not a partnership and not an endorsement.
Link to any page here, including deep links to the changelog or a single entry.
Take screenshots or a short recording, and quote a few lines, as long as it is clear where it came from.
Read the source your browser downloads in order to understand how something is done, and learn from it.
Save a page for yourself. What you may not do is publish that copy as if it were yours.
Do not scrape the site or its endpoints in bulk, and do not run automated traffic against it beyond ordinary browsing.
Do not flood it with requests, try to run up its bills, or do anything whose point is to make it slow or unavailable for other people.
Do not try to get into the parts that ask for a password, guess credentials, or work around any check on this site.
Do not use the site, its name or its artwork to pretend to be the owner, or to mislead anyone about who they are talking to.
Do not use the site as a step in attacking someone else, and do not upload or link anything through it that is illegal where you are.
Access can be blocked at any time, for any of the above, without warning and without explanation.
Some pages are not public. The stats page is one: it asks for a password and it is for moderators.
Finding an address that is not linked does not make it public, and a page that answers without asking for a password is not an invitation.
If you come across something private that is reachable when it should not be, tell the owner instead of sharing it. That is genuinely appreciated.
The site counts one view per visitor per day, and the country a visit came from. Nothing that identifies you personally is kept.
Addresses are salted and hashed to count a visitor once and are never stored; the salt changes every day and for every build.
There are no advertising trackers here, nothing is sold to anyone, and no profile of you is built.
Your browser keeps a few small preferences of its own - things like whether the page has greeted you before. They stay on your device and nobody else can read them.
The numbers that do exist - views, countries, how long a build took - are for the owner's own curiosity and are shown on the private stats page.
Links to Discord, Roblox, GitHub, Instagram, TikTok and anywhere else lead to sites the owner does not control.
Their rules, their privacy terms and their content are their own, and this page says nothing about them.
Details pulled in from those services - a profile picture, a follower count, whether an account is online - are shown as they arrive and can be wrong, late or missing.
The site is updated often, and while a build is going up it may be replaced by a plain page saying it will be back shortly.
Pages, addresses and features can appear, change or be removed at any time, and an address that works today may not tomorrow.
Every change that matters is written down in the changelog, which is the closest thing here to a record of what happened and when.
If something on this site is yours and should not be, say so through any of the links on the profile and it will be taken down or credited, whichever you would rather.
The same goes for anything that is wrong about you, or any page that should not be reachable.
No lawyers needed for a first message. Just say what it is and where it is.
The site is provided as it is, and as it happens to be working at the moment you open it.
It may change, break, lose its contents or disappear entirely, without notice. Nothing here is promised to be available, accurate, complete or up to date.
Counts, statuses and anything else pulled from elsewhere are shown in good faith and are not warranted to be right.
As far as the law allows, the owner is not responsible for any loss or damage that follows from using this site, from relying on anything written on it, or from it being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have that the law does not let anyone take away.
These terms can change. The version you are reading is the one that applies to you, now.
Changes are not announced individually, but every update to the site is listed in the changelog.
If a change to these terms is not acceptable to you, the answer is the same as at the top of the page: stop using the site.
